Bio

Ken Fryer is the Director of Music for Sequitur Classical Academy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Ken earned the Bachelor of Sacred Music degree from East Texas Baptist University, the Master of Music degree in Voice and Choral Conducting from Northeast Louisiana University, where he studied voice with the renowned bass vocalist, Louis Nabors, vocal pedagogy with Dr. John Burgin, and was a Graduate Assistant to Dr. Edward Deckard. Recently, Ken completed his Kodály Level I Certification at New St. Andrews College in Moscow, Idaho. He also holds a Master of Theological Studies degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mr. Fryer has over thirty years of experience as a church musician, vocalist, voice teacher, and educator and is currently a member of the Baton Rouge Symphony Chorus.  Mr. Fryer is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, American Choral Conductors Association, Organization of Kodály Educators, and the National Association for Music Education. He and his wife Ramona are active worshippers at Riverside Baptist Church in Denham Springs, LA where Ken serves as Director of Music/Associate Pastor.
